First off, these shoes are very well made - so don't worry about that. Second, get a half size smaller than you would normally get in a dress shoe. Because of the nature of this shoe (slip-on), it will not be as snug on you as a normal lace-up dress shoe, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with some thicker socks. These are very comfortable for long periods of walking. The sole of the shoe will get worn with excess use on hard, scratchy surfaces. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Just bought these shoes during a Amazon sales, and I must admit that these are very sharp looking shoes. I love the long look, and the comfort in the sole. The fit is good, but a bit snug (I haven't really broken them in). Because of the design, do yourselves a favor if you get the shoes - use a shoe tree.

I have a couple other pairs of Bostonian shoes and they have all been great for me. Well constructed and sharp looking. I sized mine off of another pair of Bostonian loafers that I have and thought I would be fine. However, these shoes seem to be about a half size small or so. I was able to stretch them out and they are okay now but I would like them to be a little larger.

I ordered a size 9 shoe and I think it is a size 10. Shoe was made in China. I kept the shoe as my feet are swollen and even though it is a size higher it fits my feet. It is a shoe I wear for work and it is an ok shoe especially for the price I paid for it. It is a comfortable shoe to wear.
