ok, first of all, these boots are "cruelty-free," meaning they're made with manmade (synthetic) leather. so if you're a huge animal lover like me and looking for a nice stylish pair of vegan boots, this is the pair for you. so having said that, these boots are SUPER adorable. the shaft height from top of heel is about 10" and it goes right under my calves. it's got a very good craftsmanship with nice detailing on the straps. they feel very comfy, and i wear them all day without pain. it goes with skinny jeans, skirt, and leggings, and it's just SO CUTE!! i get compliments all the time, and i feel good when i tell them it's animal-friendly!!

The product description mentions leather straps, which suggests this boot is leather. Wow! Leather for such a low price! No such luck. The upper is entirely of man-made materials. However, if you want a leather-free boot--or just a good boot at a good price--this is a nice option. The synthetic leather is textured and relaxed, so they don't have that vinyl look. I found them to be really comfortable, with plenty of room for toes without looking boxy and plenty of mid-foot space for those of us with high arches. I have muscular calves, and was pleased that they fit me without being snug. (If you have thin calves, you might find them too loose.) The boot is lightweight, with a good heel height. You can actually wear them all day without feeling like you've been tortured. The downside is, since they aren't leather, they can get sweaty.

I just got my new boots in the mail today. I was very happy i ordered them.I can not believe how comfortable these boots are. they can be worn everyday. i will be ordering another pair soon.The only thing i dont like is the fact that they cost so much, and they are not leather. but they do look like real leather, not plastic looking. Another thing is i do have big legs, and this stillnot fill in the boot completely. so if you have skinny legs this boot is not for you.

Overall, I've been pleased with these boots. They are cute and comfortable. The "leather" is kind of cheap looking and the height of the slouch is not adjustable, but I've still enjoyed having these boots and have worn them a lot. Added bonus: my friend accidentally poured a glass of water in to one of the boots and the clean up was a snap, as the sythetic materials were totally non-absorbent.

These boots are not all cracked up to be as some of these women have put it! They are JUST OK! Nothing great about them at all! Yes I do agree that they are comfy and thats only because the heel is so short. I bought the gray ones and they feel and look so pleather and the light brown heel on them looks dumb because it doesnt match the gray! But I guess if you just wanna throw on something and go, which means your not expecting to look really hot lol then these are the boots for you! I wish I never wore them so that I could send them back!
P.S. Too expensive ladies for what your getting! But the way I meant to click 1 STAR not 3!
