About Blackburn In 1975, Jim Blackburn set out to design stronger, lighter, more innovative and more reliable cycling products. The first were bags and racks designed for touring. From there, Blackburn grew. Over the next 30 years, Blackburn's spark of innovation would lead to many revolutionary products, like the first high quality aircraft aluminum rack, the first dual stroke minipump, the first oversized mountain minipump and the first dual stage/dual stroke floorpump just to name a few. For 2005, Blackburn's creative spark is burning brighter than ever. And as we head into our 30th year, Blackburn is re-dedicated to designing smart, reliable, no nonsense accessories that are essential to your riding experience.

Best Mini Pump Ever! February 24, 2006 C. Leonard (Tallahassee, FL) 62 out of 62 found this review helpful
I was shopping for a pump with the intention of purchasing the carbon fiber version. After checking out the difference in price I decided I would not use the pump often enough to spend the extra money. A month or so later I ended up flatting and was dreading using the pump, to my surprise this pump was so solid and so fast that I told every cyclist I know to buy one and I forever tucked away my CO2 cartridges. Although I do not recommend you use this pump daily, it is strong enough to handle the use. Buy this pump without hesitation, you will not regret you purchase. I've been riding mountain bikes for over 20 years and this is the first pump I've used that was worth recommending.
Pumps quickly and compact design perfect for bicycle May 21, 2006 Jambalaya J 33 out of 33 found this review helpful
This little unit is very sturdy and very easy to pump bicyle tires to capacity quickly. It easily filled my 26 x 1.95" mountain bike tires up to 60psi. Though the pump goes up to 90psi, the pumping required a little more effort near the 60psi mark, but I definitely think it is capable. The compact design easily fit on my bike frame and the velcro strap was a bonus feature for secure attachment to the frame. I HIGHLY recommend this pump.
it works good August 22, 2006 Shagui 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
This is my second pump I buy. I'm very happy with it, the valve fits very easy and you can atach it to the frame with the water bottle. It works with both, presta and shrader valves, only you turn some plastic inside and that's it. No so heavy and the construction is very resistant. A tip: Every two or three months, apply some oil drops in the inner tube, because the dirt dries it and you will not be happy with this situation in the middle of the mountain.
UltraLight Easy to use July 2, 2006 Mr. Benjamin D. Tweedle (Reisterstown , MD) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This pump is great I filled my 26'' tires in about 4 to 6 minutes it was very easy, unexpectedly. The pump is super light and it mounts to your bike frame under the water bottle cage the Velcro strap however should be checked every few day of regular use it does have a tendency to loosen a little as your calf occasionally bumps it. This makes Cartridges useless it's reusable and probably weighs the same as 3 or 4 cartridges.
Reasonably priced and works well. July 2, 2006 John Jaeger (congers, ny United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Pump is easy to attach. Purchased for a developmentally disabled adult. He had no problem using it or attaching it to the bike.
