great for winter September 30, 2007 Momma SJ (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My little guy is 6 mo old and we love the sleep sacks to keep him warm. We had several Carter's 0-9 months but he has outgrown them. (We don't use blankets because he kicks his legs up while in bed.) Now that it is getting to be winter, we put him in footed PJs and then zip this sleep sack over the top. He is currently 16 1/2 pounds and 69 cm; there is plenty of room in the leg and body area for growth. My only complaint is that the arms seem a little short. Right now, they are long enough, but they seem short in proportion to the overall length of the item. The fleece is soft and seems to wash well; I let it air dry.
High quality and roomy October 10, 2007 New Mom (Evanston, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We LOVE this thing. My 5 month old wears at night and for naps. Plenty of leg room for him to kick around. HIgh quality fleece doesn't pill in the washing machine. Padded zipper cover so the zipper never pokes him.
Microfleece Sleep Sack is Wonderful for cold nights March 20, 2008 Colton's Mom (Eagle River, AK USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased two of these when my son was 5 months old. He is now 9 months old and is still using the blanket sleeper for the cold nights in Alaska. He stays "snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug" all night long. They wash up really nice and hold up very well. I would recommend these if you want to keep a baby warm without the use of blankets, they work wonderfully!
MUCH better than the Halo April 8, 2008 Laura A. Harger (berkeley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great product, much cheaper and more useful than the Halo sleep sacks that most people buy. The Halo is sleeveless, so unless you live in a warm climate, you must dress your baby in a long-sleeved onesie underneath it. I had to add a cardigan, too, which seemed silly. The long sleeves on the Kiddopotamus, by contrast, keep him nice and warm. Small detail, too: the Kiddopotamus has a fixed zipper and the Halo doesn't, so you have to futz with the Halo zipper in the middle of the night for diaper changes. The Kiddopotamus is much easier. It's cheaper, too. We bought three and gave away our Halos.
Cute & warm baby October 30, 2007 T's mama (Germantown, MD) This wearable baby blanket is soft and it will keep your baby nice and cozy.
