Nine different toys develop sensory and motor skills, and introduces bilingual learning. View larger. | Fun That Engages Their Imagination A 2006 AMBY design award winner, the Discover and Play stimulates and entertains your baby by introducing her to colors, shapes, textures, animals, nature, language and movement. Nine interactive toys also aid development of age-appropriate sensory and motor skills. As she gently rocks and spins herself around in the 360 degree swivel seat, she'll build muscle strength and improve balance while exploring the pleasure of physical movement. This play system also encourages bi-lingual learning by introducing basic vocabulary words in a fun and interactive way. There's even a dragon hand puppet to let you get in on the fun, too. Encourages Independent Play Although adult supervision is recommended, the Discover and Play gives your baby the opportunity to independently play and explore in a safe, upright position. Baby will love pressing buttons and listening to music, or exploring different shapes and colors. He can even take a break and enjoy snacks placed on the circular tray--all when and how he wishes. Parents will also appreciate how easy it is to move this portable activity center from room to room, a real bonus when it's time to cook dinner or clean up. Safe, Durable Construction Intended for babies four months old and up to 30 pounds and 32 inches tall, the Discover and Play is sturdy, durable and safe. Three height positions make it a snap to adjust the activity center to fit your growing baby, and stationery kick-stands help limit mobility when it's time for more focused play or a quick snack. The Discover and Play is also easy to care for. Simply machine wash the cloth seat pad in cold water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. To clean the plastic or metal parts, just use a mixture of soap or detergent and water. The Discover and Play has a 27-inch diameter and an overall height of 30 inches. It also weighs 14 pounds, and requires three "AA" batteries (not included). About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.

Best exersaucer out there!!! April 6, 2008 anastasia dillon (st,augustne Fl.) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
My son is Huge! At 7 months he was 29 1/2 inches tall and 25lbs.Over the 100th percentile.. He outgrew all of his seats, jumperoos and walkers yet he still is not Crawling around. He still needs all of his favorite toys. I looked everywhere for any of theses products that exceeded 25 lbs and 30 inches, without any luck. finally I found this and it goes up to 30lbs and 32 inches. It is perfect! It has interactive colorful toys everywhere. They just spin there little seat around. When I first put him in it he just started grabbing everything , not sure of what to grab first. He wanted everything all at once! this has been his and my favorite toy.I got the pastel and not the primary colored one and was not dissapointed. it was nice to have the toy not colored so loudly in my living room.It is not quite as pastel as depicted but I liked it more. The seat is not bright green it is a little darker and the bottom is more of a medium blue than a baby blue. Very pretty. It is easy to clean and so far no fading on the seat and I have machine washed and hung to dry many time. I would buy this product again. It is well worth every penny!!!
Baby loves this February 17, 2008 Pediatric Nurse (Fort Lauderdale, FL) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Baby is now 7 mos old and continues to love this activity center. We got it when he was 6 mos old and he was a little short even on the lowest height setting. We had a 2 inch piece of foam and put it under his feet and he was so happy to practice standing and play with primarily the sun-face. Now 1 month later he doesn't need the foam to stand up and touch the bottom. He also stands in it for a long time squealing and laughing while spinning the circles and hitting the barnyard animal noise maker. Love it, love it, love it. He also can turn the seat 360 now to follow anyone who enters the room.
Great fun February 10, 2008 Rob Lawrence (Tampa, FL United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This was my son's Christmas present (he was 3 months at the time). And he loves it! His favorite was the Sun face, but as he has grown, he enjoys each of the toys, with the exception of the dragon-like puppet. We have not had any problems with the toys coming off, and our son bends and pulls them to his mouth. The seat snaps on and off and is machine washable. Overall, a great play center.
Great at Keeping Baby Busy! February 5, 2008 Sarah J. Vogel 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My son loves this thing! It was easy to assemble (once we got out the directions) and most of the items are easy to clean. It has so many different things to look at; my son just can't get enough. He plays with all of the toys and I also believe it has helped him develop muscles crucial to sitting and standing. We recently pulled up the pegs that keep it steady. This was a little unnerving for our little guy since he started wobbling all over, so I would recommend staying very close until your baby gets use to that sensation. Mommy and 5 month old baby boy approved!
Awesome Baby Product March 2, 2008 LAF (Decatur, IL, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I absolutely LOVE all things Baby Einstein and this is no exception! It has eye catching things for baby to do and my little one was 4 months old when I first put her in it and she mastered rolling one of the colored roller toys the first day. She Loves to play in her activity center and will stay occupied the whole time I am getting dinner ready. Highly recommend this activity center.
