The blocks themselves are entertaining and as they approach two they can start to put them into the shell. The one drawback is that the shell can be too difficult for them to open themselves and then get back onto the turtle for another go around.

The only thing is the shell part just sits on the turtle. It does not lock into place or anything, whick makes it impossible for your baby to correctly use the toy.
