Product Description
The Adderhead--his immortality bound in a book by Meggie's father, Mo--has ordered his henchmen to plunder the villages. The peasants' only defense is a band of outlaws led by the Bluejay--Mo's fictitious double, whose identity he has reluctantly adopted. But the Book of Immortality is unraveling, and the Adderhead again fears the White Women of Death. To bring the renegade Bluejay back to repair the book, the Adderhead kidnaps all the children in the kingdom, dooming them to slavery in his silver mines unless Mo surrends. First Dustfinger, now Mo: Can anyone save this cursed story?

5 out of 5 stars Funke is on a serious roll   September 26, 2008

I love the Inkheart trilogy, I seriously can't get enough of it! I must admit at first I was somewhat reluctant to read the conclusion to the trilogy, afraid it might be a letdown as most serie-enders are becoming, but it was as excellent as the first and second books (not to mention the breathtaking cover). Its excellently paced, descriptive, suspenseful, and keeps you flipping the pages, just salivating for the finish. I admit it started a little slow in my opinion, but it definitely picked up and kept my interest; I just couldn't put it down. I don't really want to give anything away, except that this is an amazing book, and you cannot miss out on it.

5 out of 5 stars My favorite Book   November 3, 2008

Inkdeath by Cornella Funke is a fantasy book.

Inkdeath begins with Mo going to see Balbulas's work. He gets captured by Violante. Violante gives him a deal to write the three words into the white book. Meggie is worried about Mo and falls in love with Doria. Farid is working for Orpheus so Orpheus can write Dustfinger back.
Inkdeath is a very good book with tons of twists, great characters and an excellent ending. I recommend this book for ages 10 and up.

5 out of 5 stars Sad that it is over   October 7, 2008

This was a really good ending to the series! I loved all the twists the story took. It was like riding with a giant and you have no idea where it is going to take you but you don't want to be left out of the excitement. I am sad that these books are over because I grew up with them. Cornelia Funke is one of my all time favorite authors and I hope to read more by her in the future. Thank you Cornelia Funke for one of the best rides that books can give!

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant, Stunning, Cant even think of a word...   October 8, 2008

This book, this SERIES is just fabulous! It is art printed in black and white. The words paint pictures in your head and sing to you as you read them. It was originally in german, which makes it even more mind-boggling how good it is. The story is so incredibly original and captivating. It is action, it is fairy tale, it is romance, it is comedy ,it is everything a good book should be! Best of all is the writing. It draws you in and make you hungry for more. The whole plot makes you bite your nails and feel for the characters. The end was both sad and happy, something I love in a book! Overall, this book was so wonderful, there isn't a word amazing enough to describe it. Would recommend to anyone!

5 out of 5 stars loved it!   October 12, 2008

After eagerly awaiting this books arrival, Firstly, I finished this book in 3 days! I was not dissapointed! and without giving away spoilers (like some other reviewers did), let me just say...

Like the previous books, this one sucked you right back in - wondering the fates of your favourite characters, and at certain points there were sooo many bad things happening all at once that you just couldn't help but worry how or if your characters were going to emerge alive!

I simply adored this book and was perfectly happy with all the different twists and turns in the book - a few predictable, but most were totally unforseen (at least to me anyway). And what I loved most, was the fact that at the end it hinted at the possibility of yet another book or maybe even trilogoy...

Great Read, and I would highly reccomend it!
