I got this to replace the adapter that came with my Asus 1201N. Over time it got to the point where when plugged in it would rapidly change between AC power and battery and performance would go in the toilet when that happened. When in games it would go to battery and before I knew it I would be out of power completely.
This AC adapter looks about the same except the LED is green instead of blue and the plug that goes into the computer might be a little bit longer - I can't see it sticking out further from the top, only when I look at it from below - and it doesn't cause any problems. Anyway, it works and I no longer have the issue I was describing. I've only had this AC adapter for a week - I will come on and change my review if it dies too early (that is my one worry - how long will it last). So far, everything is working great!

Wanted an extra PS for my Asus 1201N (a great little 12'' laptop!) and I got this. It works, and its as small as the original PS. So go get one especially if your lazy like me and want to keep a PS plugged in where you use the laptop the most and keep the other one in your travel bag.

Since the schmucks at Asus used a different adapter pin for the 1201N, and they don't have the accessory available for sale through their website or through a third-party, I had to seek a substitute. . . This one is it. The unit is the same compact shape and size of the factory unit, with the same pin. I've been using the charger for a few days and with the exception of the LED light (which is green on this OEM model, not blue, like the factory adapter), it works the same as the original. I have absolutely no complaints.

It works well enough, but doesn't seat as snugly as the OEM plug. This should not cause any real complaint or difficulty. I point it out only because the price should be different enough from the OEM part to make it worthwhile.

Works fine (does get very hot, but so did the original charger from Asus). The only strange thing is that the cord that plugs into the charger part is a little long and seems to not fit the best. Otherwise totally fine, and would definitely recommend buying it if you lost the original charger.
