This game is very addictive and you will invest a lot of time in this game. I've played for over 3 years and have always been at the top of my game. My husband and son are much more casual players, but it can be difficult at times even then to pull them away from the computer for dinner, etc. When you are playing.. and going into an "instance" you are in there with 4-24 other human players and you all must work as a team to defeat the monsters. Some of these can take longer than 8 hours to accomplish. (And Yes, there are LOTS of people on this game from the time they wake up until they fall asleep at their keyboard.) If you have LOTS of time to waste away, buy this game. It will keep you entertained. The addictiveness is VERY HIGH. See www.wowdetox.com

If you are thinking about starting World of Warcraft (WoW) then it won't be long before you will want the upgrade burning crusades so I recomend just getting the Battle chest because you will save money and get an additional two books. If you are unsure about playing the game you can always download the 10 day free trial software to see if you like the game but be warned that this is a huge game and will take a long time to download (>4 gig.

I have had one friend beg me to play this game online for years. Then my brother started playing. I finally caved and tried out the trial. I'm hooked. Not only is this a fun game, but w/ voice chat I get to talk friends and family for free while we play together. I can honestly say it's helped me bond with my brother and we now have a better relationship because of it.

I've tried all of the MMORPG's out there, and WoW is easily the most fun. The gameplay has tons of depth, and there is something for everyone in the game. Great for casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike. Good family play too!
Buy it, you'll love it. Worth every penny.

First a warning. *****THIS GAME IS SUPER ADDICTIVE***** You will not want to do anything else after you start playing.
This is probably one of the best, if not the best game I have ever played. I have not played on-line games before and this one is fantastic!!
Not too difficult to learn, but hard to master.
