Great Cocoa For The Keurig!! December 8, 2007 A. Stagg (Virgnia, USA) 32 out of 33 found this review helpful
Don't be mistaken, there is no substitute for REAL cocoa made with fresh ingredients. But, for a quick cup of hot chocolate on the go, this is a really good product. I think this is the best cocoa you could expect using this type of a system. It has a rich flavor and is very chocolaty. My kids love this product, since they get to make their own k-cup beverage just like mom and dad. When making this beverage in the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System or Keurig B-70 Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System, do NOT use the large setting; the drink will be too diluted. Also, when removing the k-cup from the machine, remember to tilt it slightly or a few drops of residual hot cocoa will drip from the hole punched in the bottom of the k-cup. Unlike the coffee k-cups, there is no filter inside, only powder. So a few drops of liquid remain in the k-cup after "brewing". Merely tilt it a bit when you remove it from the machine and there will be no mess.
Great Easy Hot Chocolate February 25, 2008 Ryan 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Now first let me start off by saying I am not a big chocolate fan. That being, the taste I percieve as being "great" may be different from yours. If your looking for that rich chocolate flavor then this beverage may not be what your looking for. This is by no means "chocolate flavored water." Its got flavor (as long as you stay with the first two size settings) and is so easy to make why bother with anything else. The bottom line: If your looking for a cup of hot chocolate with a powerful chocolate flavor, these k cups are not for you. If you are looking for a cup of hot chocolate with a moderate amount of flavor then give these a try. When trying these k-cups I did not add anything else before serving (ex: marshmellows) I hope you enjoy and dont let the low review scores point you away from enjoying the easiest cup of hot chocolate you have ever had.
Yummy hot chocolate! January 2, 2008 Robert M. Chambers (Northeast US.) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Most water-based hot chocolates are a bit anemic on flavor. This isn't true with these K-cups. The chocolate is rich and not watery and it's perfect after coming in from the cold outdoors.
Attention coffee lovers! October 21, 2008 Heather D. Durkacs (Butler, PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is seriously the best coffee I've ever had. I usually have to water down my coffee with creamer because it is bitter, or just plain tastes bad. I am NOT a black coffee drinker - until now. This blend is so unbelievable that I drink it black!
I didn't believe it March 24, 2008 Bryan Peretto (CT USA) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
Personally, I hate green mountain as a company. But we received a few GM items with the Keurig machine, including this hot cocoa, so we gave them a try. I was amazed at how great this cocoa was. I'm not sure if GM reformulated this cup or if the people giving it 1 star are just crazy; but this makes an amazing cup (yes, at the 8oz size). Great chocolate flavor and creamy. Update: Too much saturated fat in this product. I guess I won't be buying it, afterall.
