Very pleased to have found Sen-Sens May 18, 2007 Bonnie J. Brady (Bremerton, WA) This distinctive old fashioned type mint/candy is not easy to find in my area. We are having a family reunion in July and I wanted to have Sen-Sens for all the great-great grandchildren to be able to sample. My grandmother carried these in her purse in the 1950's and 60's and would share with us if we were good. That licorice flavor brings back many memories! Thank you for the fast and efficient service.
If you like licorice...... March 8, 2007 E. Travis (New England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Before TicTac....before those little bottles of Binaca...long before those "curiously strong mints"...there was SEN SEN. One of the original breath fresheners, SEN SEN is a powerhouse. Word to the wise, the main flavor is licorice so you better like this flavor if you're buying this product. By the way, SEN SEN got a high profile honorable mention in a Billy Joel song back in the 80s. So, you need a breath freshener? Like licorice flavors? Then get some of these really tiny squares, pop one in your mouth, and warn your friends to stay back 100 feet until the initial rush is over.
You Can Be Young Again April 21, 2008 G. Paul Abernethy (Vancouver, BC) It was a treat to once again see Sen-Sen. As a teenager in the 1950s, it seemed to me that everyone had a bag of Sen-Sens in their pocket and their unique flavor and aroma were everywhere. Used to drive teachers mad; one warned us that it was a tool for drunks to disquise their breath. Well, at least it wasn't chewing gum (the real candy culprit in those days) so it was consumed openly in class. So to relive my past, I ordered it from Candy Crate and it came quickly and just as they described. No complaints from me. Thanks, Candy Crate.
