Great diapers! (but small) September 3, 2008 Gertrude, the Good Queen (West Michigan) 10 out of 14 found this review helpful
These are great diapers. I love the idea that they are environmentally responsible. It did take a while to get used to the sort of greyish tint but the absence of chlorine was the cause. I am suddenly horrified by the diapers with all of the pretty designs on them. I like Cars but how much chlorine was used in their creation? They do run small. You need to check the weight of your baby. If you are near the cusp, go UP.
So happy we found these diapers July 8, 2008 A. Botts (Dover, DE) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have been really happy with the Seventh Generation diapers for our one year old. She started getting a lot of diaper rashes with Pampers Swaddlers when she was about 6 months old, so we switched to these. Her diaper rash completely went away and she has been rash-free ever since. They hold just as much as the Pampers and she still sleeps through the night. A great product!!

We care about the environmental impact of disposable diapers, but cloth diapering is just too time consuming for our busy lives. We wanted to do cloth diapers with a service, but the local company was too disorganized for our taste. I bought a pack of these chlorine-free diapers the morning I went into labor because I knew the cloth diapers we had at home might be too large for our little one's bum. Well, we wound up really liking them. They work really well at stopping leaks as long as you make sure the waist area is on tight enough (sometimes a challenge with any diaper when your baby kicks a lot). I would recommend that you go up a size when your baby gets to the lower limit of the next size, rather than staying with the smaller one till its upper limit. (For instance, NB goes to 10lbs, but after 8.5 lbs or so, go on up to size 1). Our little boy is a champion pee-er, so the newborn ones were overwhelmed when he reached about 9 lbs. (If you have a boy, you know what I mean: they aim out the side sometimes, which can be very messy if the diaper is a bit too snug). I like that these diapers help us practice environmental diligence that we can manage with our busy lifestyle, and our baby is comfortable.
Great product that's also better for the environment! October 1, 2008 D. Archer (MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great product that performs as well or better than "mainstream" disposables. Also biodegradable so it won't sit in a landfill for hundreds (thousands?) of years; plus no artificial chemicals/material in it that might irritate kids' skin. Good price on Amazon, particularly with "subscribe and save" discount.
Great Diapers! No rashes and softer than Earth's Best! September 26, 2008 MN Mom (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had to change diapers due to rashes from Pampers products. Since we use Seventh Generation and Earth's Best products a lot in our home, we decided to try the diapers too. Both brands are pretty good as far as absorbency - however, I have to admit, not quite as good as Pampers. But between the two natural things we tried we like the Seventh Generation better. The reason is because of the softness. When you feel the Seventh Generation and the Earth's Best brand side by side, there is a marked difference in softness and flexibility of the diapers. And the Earth's Best brand is so stiff between the legs which seems very uncomfortable. So, we're going with the Seventh Generation brand after our unofficial product testing! And the rash is gone!
