Amazon.com Product Description Omron's HJ-151 Hip Pedometer is a great motivational tool to track your steps as you walk your way through the day, and towards greater fitness. The small device's simple operation is perfect for walking beginners, and it's a great tool to help you achieve a healthier, more active lifestyle. Whether your goal is to maintain or improve overall health, lose weight or get more energy in your daily life, physical activity is essential to staying healthy. At least 30 minutes of moderate exercise is recommended each day, and the HJ-151 pedometer separately displays the steps and minutes walked at a moderate pace. It also calculates calories burned and the distance traveled. The sleek and small HJ-151 simply clips to your belt before you head out for a walk. Or, wear it throughout your busy day to find out just how much walking you're doing in a typical day of work, errands, and play. Note that the HJ-151 must be positioned correctly; it must be horizontal to the ground in order for the unit to function accurately. The device counts your steps and then saves the information for up to seven days, letting you review a full week of exercise. The HJ-151 resets its internal step counter at midnight automatically so it's ready to go every morning. An easy-to-read large display also features a clock so you've always got a timepiece at your side. The HJ-151 is powered by a replaceable lithium battery (CR2032) that will last approximately one year when used for walking 10,000 steps a day. | Compare Omron Pedometers | | HJ-150 | HJ-151 | HJ-112 | HJ-720ITC | | Measurement | | - Steps

Omron Pedometer July 15, 2007 Robert Norton 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
This product works very well, dead simple to use. I had other pedometers that would not reliably count steps, this does.
Works Perfectly...but January 2, 2008 Robert L. Eicholz (Hollywood, CA United States) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a great pedometer. It works perfectly. I've owned others, and this one is the best. It has no frills whatsoever. It's a pedometer, pure and simple. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. There's just one problem: It's so small, it's easy to lose. Mine lasted 2 weeks. I'm ordering another one.
Great Product October 17, 2007 Eric J. Ambielli 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Brought this thing on a trip to Disney with me to keep track of how much I was walking each day. To ensure it was accurate I took it jogging with me on a treadmill a couple times before. It was always within .1 mile of what I actually jogged. VERY accurate!
Works Great!!! October 12, 2007 Hope484 (Birmingham, AL USA) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This pedometer works great! It doesn't overcount (like if I shake my knee) like many others I tried. The moderate step counter is great for walkers and aerobic exercisers who want to track their progress and be sure their pace is good. The calorie counts seem low compared to the elliptical machine or charts for exercise, but that should just make you want to work harder to get the count higher.
Excellent Pedometer for the Price! November 17, 2007 Mom of Korben and Oli (Rochester, New York) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is the best pedometer that I have owned and yes I have had 4 of them...I reviewed many and am very happy with this purchase!!! It keeps accurate information for review for 7 days and does break down regular to moderate steps taken, miles and time...so if you walk, it keeps an accurate record...if you jog or speed walk, it keeps that accurate under moderate steps...It is not bulky, the clip holds tightly (even when you jog or speed walk) and it is very easy to read the numbers...What an easy set up also with the instuctions provided! I would highly recommend this one!! With my Amazon Prime membership, shipping was free and it came in 2 days!
