Great indoor grill pan October 26, 2008 Terry Hendricks This grill pan is great. I use it when the weather outside is bad. I am very pleased with how hot it gets and how it grills chicken and steak.
Electric grill cooking gone deluxe December 17, 2007 ase aewrgf 33 out of 75 found this review helpful
Classic styling coupled with the latest technical advancements in cookware is the hallmark of Cuisinart products, and they deliver another useful, versatile, and time saving appliance with the EGP-18 Electric Nonstick Grill Pan. This grill won't make you a celebrity chef, but it will make your life a little easier (or at least tastier). Its large cooking area makes my family meals much easier to wrangle. Much more than a mere cooking surface, the removable temperature control component and serving stand turns this grill into an elegant serving tray that would make Martha Stewart proud. When entertaining, if my guests are running late I plug the Cuisinart back in and use the food warming function. Clean up is a cinch, too. I would never use my old electric grill because clean up is such a pain, so being able to thrown the EGP-18 in the dishwasher is a big plus. This product has really help to kick start my desire to eat healthier. Now I cook fish so much I'm growing gills. Try this one out for sure.

I don't understand how you advertised this product Cuisinart EGP-18 Electric Nonstick Grill Pan with a glass lid and when it arrived at my home the box immediately told me that the product did not come with the glass lid you advertised. The product itself I rate excellent, but if you advertise the product as you did (includes a glass lid) then that is what should have been delivered...the main reason I ordered this product is because it came with a lid...
Product Description Error September 8, 2008 David K. Watson (Ojai, CA USA) At the time I ordered this, the Amazon product description stated in two places that a "tempered glass lid" was included. It is not. It is not shown on the packaging or referenced in the manual. There are some other counter-top cooking appliances in this Cuisinart product line which do include a glass lid. I kept this a few days to decide if I wanted to keep it anyway (I bought it in a Gold Box deal), but finally decided that without a lid of some kind, the potential for making a large mess on the counter top was just too great.

I've got a lot of Cuisinart appliances including their grind and brew coffee maker, a toaster, a coffee grinder, blender, and this grill pan. All of them are great, except this thing. It has a number of problems: 1. The sides interfere with cooking. it's hard to get a spatula in there without burning your wrist. 2. The heating stopped being even after a while. Now things on one side cook slower than the other. 3. The control nob isn't very precise (I have the same problem with my George Foreman grill). It is very hard to set a precise temperature. Bottom line, this isn't worth the money. Their other stuff is fine (I love my coffee maker and blender) but this isn't. Don't waste your money.
