I have used several brands of blank media and have tried to avoid this TDKs becuse of a bad review posted a long time ago. Recently, and because I had no choice, I had to order some of these and found them to be the very best I have used. I burned several at 16x using a NEC ND-3540A just to see if they could stand that speed and all of them turned out very well. I am burning them at 12x now but that just to be safe.
Before trying these I had been using Verbatim but these are way better.
Oh, and the price is just the icing on the cake.

When I find something that works, and works well on a consistent basis, I continue to use it. I've had no coasters, as of yet! Further I use TDK VHS tapes as well as TDK Minidv tapes.

I was concerned about buying these discs after reading all the bad reviews. However, the price was too attractive to resist. Plus, I have used other TDK media in the past and was always satisfied. I received the product and immediately tested the discs. To my disappointment, my dvd drive could not recognize the disc. I tried several more times with the same results. I was about to give up and send the discs back to Amazon when I decided to adjust my burn speed and try one last time (actually adjusted upwards to faster burn speed). VOILA! Worked perfectly. I have been through almost all 100 discs and have not had one disc fail. That is just my experience. Sometimes, all you need to do is adjust the burn speed. I know that on some Sony DVD-R that I bought I had to adjust the burn speed down before they would work properly.

the dvds work real good for recording and burning movies on them .i love them a lot and they have a nice price on them for 100 of them when i need more i will for sure order more of them
