I hate to see those little suckers running around in our kitchen. So disgusting! After a little study on Amazon, I bought this classic mouse trap, receiving the package (8 in total) after 2 days. 72 hours later, 3 dead had been thrown to the dumpster. They are mouse-killer! You'd better to watch your fingers when setting it up, because the trigger is so sensitive. One of good things with this trap is that you don't have to deal with living mice in a cage, it will be killed almost instantaneously on the spot.

I first tried the newer snap traps with the trigger that looks like a piece of cheese. Those are junk! I caught one mouse in about 20 times that I set them. I then bought these classic traps, and in 2 setting, I caught 2 mice. By the way, these catchings were both within a period of 30 minutes. I also found that regular old white bread balled up is the best bait. It hardens, while also staying fresh, making it very hard for the mouse to get it off the trigger without setting off the trap. Good luck with your mouse troubles, and these will help a lot!

Love Baking
It is a the worst trap we ever had. Hubby just set 6 of these traps up in the garage with peanut butter and from all of them the peanut butter is gone, but none of them caught not one mouse. This is the main reason that I am here and looking for reviews to see what to buy next. Do not waste your money on this trap, go for something else, I don't really know which one to chose yet, but for sure this is no good for trapping mice.
