Product Description Strong story, fast paced shooting action. And if you cannot shoot, then there is your RECON, hacking device enabling you to remotely control various devices you meet on your way through the dark halls and corridors of Alpha Prime. If that s not enough, you can drug your mind and sharpen your senses by injecting small dose of hubbardium. And all the time you will be surrounded by physical world in a very literal sense, because almost everything that moves, moves thanks to advanced realtime physics algorithms. 7 devices to hack including a variety of robots and manipulators, surveillance cameras, security systems, doors, etc. ESRB Rated M for Mature

Requires online Steam account to play November 14, 2007 J. Lundberg 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The US retail box version of this game requires you to have an online Steam account before you can even install the game. So, you must have an internet connection to play this game, even the single player. If you don't want to mess with Steam, get the UK version.
No Steam needed if you buy on Stardock December 31, 2007 Warwind 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a completely on-rails shooter. No choice about which way to go; if you can open a door, that's the way you need to go and no worries about there being a better route some other way. Difficulty is very uneven; some areas are totally easy while others are insanely difficult, even on the easiest setting. Enemies see you and know exactly where you are the second you pop up your little head. Finally I gave up and used cheat codes to plow through to the end. Graphics are good overall, but can't carry a game by themselves.
Ben there done that. January 31, 2008 J. Breitenstein 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It has good graphics and smooth game play no problems installing or adjusting settings to max. Unfortunately it is not involving. There wasn't a decent story or any reason to care what was going on. I kept hoping for it to get interesting and it never did. I gave up out of boredom. There are tons of other games I would not mind playing over like Bioshock or GOW before I waste time on this. It is on steam though so I dont need to find the CD disk if I want to try it again.
