Product Description
This spice rack can be placed most anywhere you desire - mount it to your kitchen wall (painted or wallpapered surfaces, glass or ceramic tiles) or on the side of appliances like your refrigerator. The magnetic spice rack comes with a metal bar (with a large magnet on the back and holes for your screws); place it on your refrigerator or mount it to your wall with screws (not included). Next, the six round canisters (with magnets on the back) attach to the metal bar, offering quick access to your favorite spices. The canisters have twist-off lids with plastic windows; you can also rotate the lids left or right, aligning up the grooves on the lids and canisters so you can sprinkle your favorite spices without opening the lids. Spices (basil, coriander, marjoram, crushed mint, bay leaves and pizza seasonings) are included with your magnetic spice rack.

They stick to the side of the refrigerator by our counter and are very convenient. They work great and our friends want to get some. The plastic on the lids cracked on a few of them after 6 months, for no apparent reason.

Although this is technically a "spice rack", I found this item to have many other uses as well. Since I was having a difficult time with the storage of supplies at my desk I purchased several of these to help eliminate the problem. They have worked out great. Since they can be mounted on the wall, they do not take up valuable desktop space. It is also very easy to see what is in each container since the tops of them are clear. They stay out of the way - but are still within arm's reach when needed. Since they are also magnetic, they stay in place well (I haven't lost one of them yet!). I have found that the 6 set canister set is the best buy and also that the single strip offers much more versatility than the set of 9 or 12 that comes with a magnetic sheet instead of individual strips. I am even thinking about purchasing more and actually using them in the kitchen.

I am totally about beauty AND function. This product has both. I bought 4 sets (= 24 compartments for spices) and have them hanging in my kitchen. The spices are beautifully displayed - reds, greens, whites, etc. Be aware - (this isn't a negative, just I didn't realize it) - that the spices that come with the canisters pretty much FILL the canisters. Don't expect to add too much to the canister if you have duplicates.

I purchased 4 sets of the spice rack and I am very happy I did. I could use more and may buy them at a later date. It is extremely helpful in organizing my spices and I have also used one of the racks to place my vitamins. The good news is that I am more inclined to remember to take my vitamins, as I placed the spice rack in the cabinet that contains my morning coffee and breafsst items.
As far as the spices are concerned, I have poor vision, so I made round papers, wrote the spice name in it and put it in the lid so now I can see everything easily One thing I had not realized is that it came with 6 sealed spices all ready to cook with. This a truly a great item to help organize the kitchen.

We use these on our houseboat where space is very limited. We considered using the metal strip included with the set and mounting it on the wall or cabinet, but we wound up putting the jars on the side of the refrigerator and did not need the strip.
