Provides just enough length for grabbing the bottom of a 4'x8' sheet (in lieu of longer arms) so one person can carry it. Sturdy enough to lift 3/4" 7-ply birch plywood (pretty heavy). It's made of heavy duty plastic, so it doesn't add a lot of weight to what you're lifting.

I love this thing, it made carrying 29 sheets of drywall into my house alone possible!

This is one of those simple items that you have to have...and wished you invented it. It does exactly what it says and makes carrying sheet goods by yourself a much easier job.

... Able to do a lot more work with a lot less effort. Sure, you can just grip the plywood from the top, or hold one hand high and one low, resting the board or sheetrock on your shoulder, but it's energy that can be best spent elsewhere. ... A handy person can slap a helpful aid together themselves, but it's $6 well spent.

This item is a one trick' pony that does exactly what it is supposed to do: handle dry wall panels or any other similar size or type panels that because of awkward size are difficult to handle. It is lightweight, strong and well designed. It will save possible shoulder or back injury in carrying this type of building materials or doors, windows etc. It is perfect as well as bargain priced!
