Amazon.com Review The P3 International P7901 Molechaser makes moles scram by emitting a penetrating sound that sets the rodents' sensitive hearing on edge. Operating in a circular pattern of 100 feet, the Molechaser also chases off ground squirrels, shrews, voles, pocket mice, and gophers. It won't harm the rodents or your earthworms or your pets; it won't even harm your lawnmower, because you can bury it flush with the ground. At 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 15 inches long, the high impact ABS plastic Molechaser doesn't require an excavation of your garden. Plus, you can replace the four D-cell batteries--approximately once every 4 to 6 months--without digging it up. The Molechaser gives off 300 Hz of sound at 15-second intervals and works best in unobstructed, moist clay soil. If soil is dry, sandy, or peat soil, you may need a couple of Molechasers to get rid of moles for good. --Emily Bedard

Molechaser stake December 18, 2007 John E. Rodenberg (Southeast NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
P3 International P7901 Molechaser Moles can be a very big "pain in the yard" and in many states you cannot use poisons, this is the best, easiest alternative, and it works!! Simple to use---just place batteries in the unit and push it into the ground! How much easier can you get! The only drawback is the range they claim that they work in---you will probably need more than one in an average sized yard to get the job done---Battery life is acceptable, and once placed into the ground, batteries are still easily replacable without removing the entire unit from the ground.
Moles ? What Moles? May 25, 2008 Steven M. Arkon (Tennessee) I had moles tunneling throughout my yard before I bought the P3. I put one in the back yard and another one in the front. It has been a month now and there are no signs of moles in my yard at all. I would recommend these for anyone that has a mole problem.
Mole Chasers really work June 28, 2008 Alayne E. Heishman (Ma) Every year I'm plagued with moles in my back yard, once the grown thaws and I install these they just disapear.
A Mole Chaser That Works July 15, 2008 Victor Goguen (Leominster, Massachusetts United States) I have just purchased two more P3 International Mole Chasers #P7901 mole chasers for the simple reason that they work. I have had two of them in my back yard for three years and they have kept the moles away. Having noticed mole activity in my front yard, I have installed two more there. Although making sure to lime my lawn every year must surely be part of the solution, I am convinced that the P3 is an effective mole control.
Just what I ordered August 31, 2008 Dr. Todd H. Berinstein (Vancouver WA USA) My old one failed after 8 years, and this one is working well. Moles ran away.
