Amazon.com Review The strongest in the company's line of rodent-irritators, the P3 International P7906 Vibrasonic Molechaser evacuates moles by emitting a penetrating sound that sets the rodents' sensitive hearing on edge. Operating in a circular pattern of 130 feet, the Vibrasonic Molechaser also chases off ground squirrels, shrews, voles, pocket mice, and gophers. It won't harm the rodents or your earthworms or your pets; it won't even harm your lawnmower, because you can bury it flush with the ground. At 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 16 inches long, the anodized aluminum Vibrasonic Molechaser doesn't require an excavation of your garden, and you can replace the four D-cell batteries--approximately once every 4 to 6 months--without digging it up. The device gives off 300 Hz of sound at 8-second intervals and works best in unobstructed, moist clay soil. If soil is dry, sandy, or peat soil, you may need a couple of Molechasers to get rid of moles for good. --Emily Bedard

Excellent product!! November 6, 2002 33 out of 37 found this review helpful
Wow. Enough words cannot express how well this product works. I had a festering mole problem in my back yard. When i purchased a few the Vibrasonic and implanted them in my yard. It seems as though I've driven the moles onto my neighbor's yard. Excellent. And once the moles were gone, the Vibrasonic still have high utillity. I've used the Vibrasonic on myself and exprienced amazing, knee shaking orgasms. I would recommend this product to any one even if you don't have a mole problem...
Very, very effective January 31, 2005 Robert R. Hallmark (Annandale, VA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
In my application this product worked exactly as advertised. My subsurface is clay, and I was careful to insert the item so that it had firm contact with the surrounding soil. My mole infestation, which had persisted through the use of poisons, mechanical "traps", castor oil sprays, grub treatments, chewing gum, and whatever else I could think of, disappeared within 6 weeks and never came back. I'm submitting this product review because this is one of the simplest, most effective items I've ever stumbled across. I went online to purchase another one (for the back yard), saw the negative reviews, and had to submit an opposing opinion.
It Works December 29, 2002 R. Fritz (Lexington Park, MD United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had problems with moles in my front yard. I put two of these in and the moles went away. I saw a review of the Lentek ones where someone said they leak. These caps overlap and I experienced no leakage. The only problem is that my soil is very hard and you *cannot* pound these in like a stake -- the caps are plastic. I had to pound a wooden stake in the ground and rock it back and forth to get a hole that I could insert these things into. After six months I chose to remove them -- but I had to dig them out because the soil had shrunk around them. But that was my problem, not theirs. Oh yeah, since the caps are green and designed to blend, once the batteries go, you better remember where you put them.
Works for me!!! May 27, 2008 3 Wood (Fairhope, AL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So far this product is working perfectly. I have had it installed for about one month. Under my lawn in Alabama I have packed red clay. I dug a narrow hole and then packed the soil tightly around the unit. The cap on top is one half inch above ground. The mole was active for the first week or two as expected. Since then there has been no sign of any moles. The sound from the unit, which is packed tightly, is very very faint. Update: Have had this unit now for 4 months. No sign of mole. Pack tightly with soil.
Mole chaser June 30, 2008 Dr. Robert Frost (Nevada, USA) The devices arrived swiftly and at a good price. Not sure if they are working as I can't see the voles - only their holes.
