Had my doubts, but no more. This device keeps rabbits out of the yard and works as advertised. I would recommend anytime.

Since using the Animal Away, we haven't had the problems of stray cats in our yard. :) Hooray! I'm happy to say that the Animal Away is 'bird friendly' and doesn't disturb the wildbirds that I feed. It does seem to require fresh batteries approximately every month, but as long as it keeps the strays away, I'm happy!

I tested this out on my cats. They did find the devide uncomfortable at close range. They only moved away if they stuck their nose up to the speaker. It does not have enough db (loudness, sound pressure) to be effective. No effect on dogs.

I bought two of them to stop cats climbing my car's hood.
I tried them for sometime but I'm not sure if they are really having effect on cats.
