Amazon.com Product Description This Invicta stainless steel men's chronograph watch wonderfully blends classic timepiece design with a contemporary edge. The textured off-white dial face features angular minute indexes in black mixed with Arabic numerals, as well as two black-outlined chronograph subdials in the center of the dial. The large, round silver stainless steel watch case measures 52mm (2.05 inches) wide with the oversized, grooved crown. It also has Tritnite luminous black-outlined hands (with seconds hand) and a unique date window at three o'clock that displays a range of three dates. Other features include a supple black leather strap with white contrast stitching, scratch-resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--suitable for scuba diving. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours. About Invicta Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market.

Ludicrously huge September 15, 2008 Ian C. Guch (VA) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
I didn't pay very close attention when I bought this. I thought the style was cool, and that the watch would be a normally sized one (I wasn't paying attention to the specs). To say that I was surprised that it was so huge is an understatement. The heft of it on my wrist is huge - more of a "wristclock" than a "wristwatch". I was so surprised by the hugeness of it that I kept asking my daughter (who is 16) whether I should return it. After a while, though, and some wearing, I realized that this ludicrously huge watch is also ludicrously nice. It's obviously well-built and definitely has a style that stands out. I certainly will NOT be returning this one! My advice: If you don't want to attract attention with your watch, for God's sake don't buy this watch. However, if you want something distinctive that looks like it will last forever, this is the watch for you! Update (40 days later): I still like the look of the watch, but the stopwatch feature now resets to two seconds rather than to zero seconds. A little thing, I know, but it kind of defeats the purpose of a stopwatch to be two seconds off.
BIG on style... August 7, 2007 e. S. b. (Dallas, TX) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I received this watch as a gift this past weekend, and I wasn't quite prepared for what would come in the yellow Invicta box. I have admired the various styles of Invicta watches for a while now and knew they had a reputation for their hefty size and being well made, but even with that prior knowledge I was caught off guard by this watch. To say this is a BIG watch would be an understatement. I am 6'3" tall and this watch looks big on me. The body is thick and the face of the watch is wide. (Amazon is not kidding in their description when they say the watch is almost 2.5 inches wide.) Now that I have had a few days to adjust to it, I love it! It is very well made, the design is very stylish and it definitely garners attention. I wore it with a long sleeve shirt and a sports coat the first time and it still managed to catch many eyes and spark conversations. (I wore it once with a short sleeve shirt and probably won't do that again because it is so large.) If you like hefty watches that are well made, then this watch fits that bill. I you are reserved and don't like to be flashy then you may want to consider another watch.
Great Deal! November 7, 2008 D. Anderson (Albuquerque) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I want to start by saying that this is my 2nd Invicta of this "large" size. My other is model 4603 (Russian Diver's Watch). My only concern when ordering this watch was a comment from another customer referring to the "yellow color" on the face. I was pleasantly relieved to receive a watch with a light cream face. It also has a beautiful black leather band, an accurate chronograph and a very easy to read date. Whenever I wear either of my Invictas, I get positive feedback. Several of my friends have ordered theirs after seeing mine. There are a couple features that I prefer on this Corduba over my Diver: -The crown cap has a lever vs. a chain (you don't get that occasional annoying tickle of the chain against your wrist). -Next is the shape of the crown cap; it is beveled on the wrist side so that it doesn't abrade your wrist if it slides down a bit. -Another thing is the weight; it is about half the weight of the diver so it is very comfortable to wear on a daily basis. -The price is great for the quality of the watch. -My only slight worry about this watch is the elevated crystal; it is raised about 1/32 inch past the bezel (making it susceptible to scratching). Overall, I strongly recommend this watch to anyone that is secure enough to wear a watch that is a little larger than a silver dollar.
Big Watch thats Big on Style! September 23, 2008 Philanthropist 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just received this watch and it is my first from Invicta. My first impression (besides the size, which I Love) was that this is a very elegant and stylish watch. It looks like a relative to an IWC watch and holds the same weight and thickness as a Breitling. I own both IWC and Breitling and based on all the comments I received about my Invicta, those other 2 will be on their watchwinders for quite awhile! You should see the expressions on the faces of all those pompous people at the Country Club when I tell them its a 99 dollar Invicta! In my book absolutely priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed, it is a big one! November 12, 2008 Charles W. Long (Mission, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered because it was said to be big and easy to read. It is that. Although big it is not uncomfortably big. In the short time I have had it, I have become accustomed to having it on my wrist. Of course, it keeps good time. The stopwatch function is easier to operate than any I have owned before. The only thing I would have had Invicta do a bit differently is the day numbers. There is all kinds of room to have made them bigger and I wish they were. I like the watch and think it to be good value for the money.
