Even my tall 3 year old loves it.... July 6, 2007 Live-in-color Mom (San Antonio, TX United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
After many research and reading many reviews, I went ahead and ordered Quattro Tour Duo Stroller Ionic. I was scared at first since I haven't seen this stroller in local stores but it was worth it. I just put it together myself last night (I'm 7 months pregnant) and it was a breeze. I thought the front seat might be too small for my 3 year old son since he's taller than average, but it wasn't. I wouldn't recommend using the front seat if your toddler is over weight though. I test strolled around the block and it was easy to maneuver because of the design of the handle. The stroller itself is very sturdy and very chic. I showed it to my mother-in-law and even she can't wait to push the kids around in it because it looks and feel so good. I've seen the Glider version in stores and since I've been pregnant with my second, I see that every where but I didn't like the way it look and I have to say Quattro Duo looks way better. Of course the Glider seems longer and bigger but Quattro Duo has plenty of room for two and storage. The design of the back seat, I could definitely lay my baby down safe and secure. And it's easy to fold too. I can't wait for the baby to come. I don't know why people were complaining....what do they expect? Its double stroller meant to be sturdy and safe for two kids, so you can't expect it to fold into an umbrella stroller size and be feather weight. If you have a perfectly good double stroller, then why buy another double stroller and compare the price?
ROLLS ROYCE OF DOUBLE STROLLERS July 19, 2007 C. Hamman (Los Angeles, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I just took this out for a drive yesterday! My 3 year old loved it and it even has a feature I was unaware of for my newborn. The back seat turns into a cradle so she does not have to be in that uncomfortable car seat all the time. The handles are really nice for pushing and there fanny pack is perfect for my wallet, cell phone and lip gloss. The stroller is really heavy but I could use the workout! It also looks great so it serves my vanity. (I bought the mulan color from a different website.)
BEST Stroller EVER! March 6, 2008 Tristan's Mommy (Toledo, Ohio USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I starting researching duo strollers as soon as we found out I was expecting baby #2. After reading reviews and "test driving" tons- we picked the Quattro Tour and LOVE it! The back seat is where we are currently putting our new baby- still in her car seat while our extremely hyperactive, inquistivie, independent 2 1/2 year old rides in the front. Because he has his own cup holders and can get in and out he feels like a big boy, and actually sits down to ride in it without arguements. The cup holders all detach as well for easy clean up. Additionally, when the back seat is reclined it makes a "bassinet" for the baby to ride in which makes a perfect "changing table" when your out and about and stuck without a restroom. It steers so easily and while it is a little heavy, if you can carry those insanely heavy/awkward baby car seats- the stroller shouldn't be an issue. It collapses with one hand (really-it's not one of those that says it's one-handed collapse and then you have to fight with it, you can collapse it with one hand) on its wheels to push into the trunk. I read the negative reviews and really don't know what they are talking about! I don't want to offend anyone, but they must have just had bad luck because this stroller is awesome! This stroller has so many options I'm still playing with it! I highly reccomend this stroller- totally worth the extra money!!!
For the price this stroller is perfect! May 25, 2007 mom23boys (Minneapolis) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
As a mom of twins I love this stroller. I was looking for a stroller that wasn't expensive, that easily fit through doors and was a good qulity. This stroller is all of that and more. I had a Peg Perego Tender and I hated it! Compared to the Graco Quattro Tour Duo the Peg Perego was too large, bulky and heavy. I also have a BOB Revolution Duo stroller that I use for walks -- but for everything else I use this stroller. The Quattro Tour Duo is super easy to just put the twins in their seat and go. Each seat has a five point harness which adjusts simple so that you can also use it as a three point harness. Many times when in a hurry I just buckle the twins with the three point harness and they are still safe in their seats. From just looking at the stroller I was worried that the twin sitting in the front seat may slide out -- but after many uses that has not even come close to happening. The stroller folds up easily and in seconds which is a wonderful feature. But even folded it still takes up a a lot of space in the back of my SUV -- however any double stoller is going to take up space. I was also worried about the weight of the stroller and have not at all found it to be a problem. It's simple to lift in and out of my car and I am a smaller framed person. This stroller is perfect!
Love the stroller, Loved the Amazon experiance May 7, 2008 K. Mehra (Sunny Florida) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
OK, so we have two kids in diapers... fun fun fun... and getting a Graco Quattro Tour Duo was a great way of managing both our balls of energy, on our eventful outings. The Good: The stroller is very well constructed, smooth to operate and maneuvers rather nicely. Maneuverability was important to us as my wife I kinda smallish and was not sure is she could move in and out of isles on those 'important runs to the mall' with ease. I don't know if I should be happy or sad, but she can. In addition to maneuverability I like the origami aspect of the stroller, which has it neatly fold into something you can stuff in the back if your car. Our kids don't seem to mind being strapped in it and my daughter seems to think once she's strapped in, she can command either parent to push the stroller wherever her little heart desires - only works with the grandparents The Bad: it's heavy... OK once the nice little origami thing happens; you gotta lift the sucker and keep it in your car. Plus it takes up quite a bit of room, when folded. Now, that may be a good thing, given that it cuts into the space my wife would otherwise use for shopping bags. Bottom Line: As expected from Graco, we're very happy over all. Once we compared it with what else was out there, we think we made the right decision. ABOUT AMAZON... We brought the stroller and it had an issue where it was sticking when we tried to close it. Instead of messing with it, we wanted it changed. I opened the website and clicked on the link where Amazon call's you... loved it. They not only did, but were so helpful that they sent the replacement overnight - at no charge. Now we have the new stroller and the other one it on its bay back to Amazon on their dime. I thought I would have to roll my sleeves back to do the exchange, but their willingness has made me a believer. Thank you Amazon.
