I love soaps and am constantly hunting for good smelling ones. This soap qualifies as the one of the best for several reasons. First, the scent actually stays with you. Unlike many other soaps whose scent disappears soon after you step out of the shower, these scents will stay with you, giving you a clean smell all day. Second, the scents are wonderfully natural and pleasant. Mistral makes a wide variety of scents to meet almost anyone's preference, including men! The scent does not fade at all as the bar gets smaller. Third, it is all natural. Fourth, and for me the most important reason, given the price of the soap, it lasts a long, long time. Many soaps dissolve quickly in the shower. This soap really lasts. It gives off a nice lather. The length in which the soap lasts easily off-sets the price.
Make sure you visit an actual shop that has these soaps so you can smell them in person. The descriptions of the fragrances don't do them justice. For example, the Balinese Vanilla is very masculine smelling. There is a nice sampler pack for sale for $19 which has 9 different scents. The exfoliating soaps are really good all the way through. I use the almond milk one daily.
All in all, I highly recommend this brand of soap. You won't be disappointed.

Great soap. Gentle on skin, nice lather and it lasts a long time. Good size bar too.

I bought four different Mistral soups more than 6 months ago, and I'm still using the first one I opened (it's almost gone though), the Lychee Rose, which smells amazing and not sickenly sweet at all. That's amazing value right there if you were worried over buying a 7 dollar soap. It should definitely last you at least a couple months, and possibly much longer like me if you take care of your soap (keep it away from water when not in use, don't rinse it under water before and after use, etc.). All these soaps really do smell great, maybe some better than others depending on personal preference, and they STAY nicely fragrant forever. I have a Canteloupe one in a box and sometimes my nose will pick it up if I'm sitting nearby. It doesn't dry my skin as much as the shower gels I used to use, although you should probably still moisturize if your skin gets dry easily (I still do in the winter). It feels really luxurious and leaves your skin smelling amazing.

I have sensitive skin and used Crabtree & Evelyn for 25 years. While shopping in another city, I bought a bar of Mistral Milk Soap. I loved the soap and wanted to find a place that I could order it so I wouldn't have to go back to the city where I bought it. I'm so glad you carry Mistral!

Mistral soap is a nice luxury item with a very good price, as compared to some other luxury bar soaps. I ordered seven scents, all of which smell lovely. The scents that I got are not overpowering and do not interfere with any other lotions or perfumes I might want to wear. I did not purchase any of the fruit scents, so I cannot comment on them. The soaps are triple milled, give a nice lather and last a long time. They are also paraben free which is a concern to me. I am trying to avoid parabens for possible health concerns, which is difficult, as it seems everything in the USA is made with this cheap stuff in it, so I was glad to find these soaps. The French, and these are a product of France, have scientific studies, stating that parabens may be a possible carcinogen. The FDA is ignoring these studies. Odd that only USA studies seem to have any merit with this agency. I prefer to be on the cautious side. I also love the organic shea butter in these soaps. All in all I found these to be a very pleasing purchase.
