comfortable and good sound! July 9, 2007 pfear (West Lakeland, MN United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My ipod ear buds were very uncomfortable, so I ordered these hoping to find something that sounded good, and I could wear for longer than 15 minutes before hurting. These are very comfortable, fit well in my ears, and sound great. Comes with 3 sizes of cushioned ear pieces. Excellent product!
Great Buy! October 18, 2007 M. Zwaan (San Jose, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These buds are the best I've owned for the iPod yet and I've been through no less than 10 others in this price range. I won't spend more money on a pair because they are so easily damaged. I like the snug fit and the earbuds are deceptively sturdy. They are thin and weightless in the ear with a strong metal-like construction rather than the easily snapable plastic that most buds offer. The gold-plated plug fits tight in the iPod jack and because it is L-shaped it rarely pulls out like those straight jacks always do when the wire gets a tug. And, you will like the length of the wires and the ratio of the split wire to the whole length. I think they got that just right. There's room to move while wearing them but not so much as to give the wire too many opportunities to catch onto things and get ripped from your ears. And, in the case they do come tearing out of your ear sockets unexpectedly, just relax-its painless. That's because there is no hard plastic in your ear canal to rub across the skin as they go in or out. Yet, all the while, they keep out excess noise from the environment and, even at the lowest volumes, the music is crisp and clear. Its a very nice design. A great buy!
UPDATE: After only 2 months the L bud started to crackle and today stopped working altogether. Too bad. The problem is that the wire connection is too fragile inside the bud so that the twisting motion they get when connected to any iPod in use actually snaps the wire in two. Manufacturer needs to fix this flaw or they will be replacing every purchase of these things under their 1 year warranty program. I'm sending mine back under warranty so I'll let you all know if they honor it without hassle. Too bad because these buds were perfectly designed on the outside. Now they need to match the internal design to the same quality standards.
5 Stars on the Value Meter - play with your EQ for Best Sound! December 11, 2007 B. Moore (Austin, Texas) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these to replace the original buds that came with my Ipod. All in all for $15 bucks I can't complain, there comfortable, the sound is pretty clean with respectable bass. What I did discover was my EQ menu on my ipod. When I shuffle songs and go from rock to acoustic or even blues I wind up playing with the EQ settings on my ipod. Going from Nirvana on the default EQ setting to Lyle Lovette - well Lyle sounds like he's singing in a shoebox. The R&B setting on the EQ works the best for my taste if I am in shuffle mode and do not want to mess with my ipod all the time. If you buy these and are finding your favorite artist doesn't sound quite right play with your mp3 player's eq and see if that helps.
crsipy, quality sound, noise reducing and ample bass....just what i like December 12, 2006 A. Chaimberg (Montreal, Canada) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have had these for about a month, and they are far superior to any other earbud I have tried. I would highly recommend them.
I also own the mini blaster for my ipod and this company is known for innovative design and quality.
Also, for the price you can't go wrong.
Finally--Earbuds that fit! January 10, 2007 Michelle Brown (Cedar Park, TX) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have small ears and I've never been able to use regular ear buds. They always slipped out. After getting an iPod for Christmas and not being able to listen to my music without old-fashioned "headphones," I purchased these.
These little buds have 3 sizes, and the smallest fit my ears perfectly. They don't slip a bit, and they are soft and rubbery and fit all the way around, so not only are they super comfortable, my music sounds great. The sound quality is better than the ear buds that came with the iPod (I'm not an expert, so I don't know if that's saying much). But for the super low price, the comfort and the sound quality.. these just can't be beat.
