I've been using this product for about a year now. It's the only heart-rate monitor that I've owned. It works extremely well and accurately every time. Batteries last a long time as well, since I haven't had to change them yet. It's changed the way that I view my workouts. For the price, I don't hesitate to recommend it.

I read a few reviews of unhappy customers and yet I bought this monitor. I bought it about 2 months ago and use it 4 times a week during cardio. It works perfect! I put it on, start walking, and it shows readings within 5 seconds. I am very happy with this monitor and yes, I recomend it.

Clock, chronometer and heart rate monitor: the three basic operations I need at the gym. I haven't compared it yet with other monitors, but I think it's accurate enough. Because of the short range of the transmitter, it hasn't interefered with other people using monitors (not yet, at least), but it allows my trainer to read my heart rate from its wrist monitor when he stands close to me to try to catch the signal.

I have had two pulse monitors before this - both made by Polar. I just wanted a basic model. No frills. Paid over $50 for the first and over 40 for the same model a couple years later. This monitor has many more features at less money! The description I read said you could change the batteries yourself (we'll see) - polar had to be sent to the factory!!
Very pleased so far. Had about a month.

this product does everything that it claims to do.....it is comfortable to wear and fits well around my rather large Male chest....I compared the readings and they are accurate every time.....I recommend this monitor for anyone that is looking for one in this price range
