An impressive album by Nine Inch Nails! I was blown away by Trent's decision to allow everyone to download the whole album for free. It's really impressive to see him embracing technology and the way it's changing the music industry instead of trying to fight it. I have been a Nine Inch Nails fan for close to 15 years now and because of his consideration of his fans by releasing this album for free to us, I decided to purchase the physical CD of the Slip to show my support. So I encourage everyone: be a good fan and support the artist, especially since this artist is trying to help his own fans!

IT'S RARE THAT WE WOULD USE THE WORD DISTURBING AS A COMPLIMENT BUT 'THE SLIP' IS BEAUTIFULLY DISTURBING. THE 'NINERS' ARE AN INTELECTUALLY AND EMOTIONALLY DANGEROUS BAND, NOY THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME BUT THEY CERTAINLY DESERVE TO REIGN AS SUCH FOR A WEEK !!!!!

Trent Reznor released this ablum for free online... yet I purchased the limited numbered copy to help support his forward thinking music model. The album also included a great bonus video DVD along with some other goodies that just made me love my purchase all the more. My favorite tracks off the album are 1,000,000, EchoPlex, Demon Seed... ahh hell, I love the whole ablum!
Tired of being screwed by the record labels? The help support acts like Nine Inch Nails that put music out the right way.

I have enjoy NIN for some time now...i did not like(the fragile)era...but was very surprised when WITH TEETH came out, although YEAR ZERO was more impressive... it seems Trent for right now seems to be on a non-stop creative high... GHOSTS and THE SLIP are equally impressive a catalogue and i was thrilled to recieve from NIN.COM for free... Aside from music Trent is saying and doing some very powerfull things... whether you get this from here or there, get it and listen... our freedom is about to fade... CHAHTA SIA HOKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like NIN don't pass up on the opportunity to watch them performing these songs live. It usually takes some listening before a NIN song can be fully appreciated, that's what makes NIN so great - the music ages well, but seeing these performances live already shows you how good these songs are - this tour will ROCK!
